An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Associate to join a nationally recognised legal team based in Leeds. This role is ideal for a driven professional with experience in healthcare litigation or personal injury who is keen to work on high-quality defendant clinical negligence matters within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. About the Role You will manage a varied and engaging caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims on behalf of a diverse client base, including NHS Trusts, NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations, independent healthcare providers and medical malpractice insurers. Key Responsibilities Managing a broad caseload of defendant clinical negligence files from instruction through to resolution Drafting legal documents, preparing court bundles and meeting all court and procedural deadlines Attending client meetings, settlement discussions and mediations Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice Working in accordance with client protocols, internal procedures and regulatory requirements Supporting team initiatives such as training sessions, knowledge sharing, client seminars and business development Requirements Qualified Solicitor or Associate with experience in clinical negligence, personal injury, or insurance litigation Experience working with NHS Resolution or medical defence organisations is desirable but not essential Strong drafting, analytical and case management skills, with experience using electronic case management systems Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a pragmatic and commercial approach to workload Outstanding communication and client care skills, with a professional and empathetic manner A collaborative team player, willing to mentor and support junior colleagues What's on Offer?
