We are seeking a skilled Technician to assemble, test, and rework high-complexity electromechanical radar systems for maritime applications. This hands-on role is crucial to ensuring the highest quality standards in the production of advanced marine navigation products. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, test, and rework electromechanical radar equipment to precise standards Work with engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed procedures Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, and PCB rework Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors (IPC/WHMA-A-620) Inspect and troubleshoot products to ensure quality compliance Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards Requirements: 2 years experience in engineering or manufacturing Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of radar systems or cellular manufacturing (advantageous) Must be able to pass security clearance (5 years UK address History, Right to work, 3 years consistent employment references (to current date) Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, and bending throughout the day Manual handling/lifting as part of daily tasks This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of cutting-edge maritime radar technology.
