Main Responsibilities
* New Business Development: Identify and target prospective customers in the international Express Parcels sector. Conduct market research and lead generation activities to build a robust pipeline of potential clients. Develop and implement sales strategies to convert leads into customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets and organic growth expectations.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and new customers. Understand their specific needs, challenges, and objectives. Act as a trusted partner, providing customised solutions and value-added services to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
* Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Clearly articulate the value proposition, benefits, and competitive advantages of our services. Conduct negotiations and pricing discussions to secure profitable contracts.
* Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track and monitor your sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sales forecasting. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends. Provide insights and recommendations to management to optimize sales strategies and achieve business objectives.
* Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to identify opportunities and challenges. Leverage market insights to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead in a competitive environment.
* Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, finance, and IT, to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address customer requirements, resolve issues, and optimize processes.
* Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with industry knowledge, product updates, and sales techniques. Attend training sessions, seminars, and conferences to enhance professional skills and stay ahead of industry advancements. Proactively seek feedback and identify areas for personal and professional growth.
Essential Requirements
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the international Express Parcels space or a related field.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to influence and close deals.
* Results-driven mindset with a passion for sales and a strong business acumen.
* You will be passionate about your earning potential and available commission structure.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
* Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit regional/head offices.
* Well educated in the Microsoft Office/365 suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
