Training Employer Manager/ATE Manager Home based Kent, Essex, Sussex, Hampshire, South Home cCountiesPermanent Up to £72,760pa - full time 35 hours Join our team as Training Employer ManagerThe Training Employer Authorisation and Review team approve and monitor employers and individuals who train students for the ACA qualification to become Chartered team also oversees applications for, and the award of, the Audit Qualification to ICAEW members, a status which is needed under the Companies Act 2006 by those who want to sign audit reports as "Responsible Individuals".The work of the team is very important to the success of ICAEW and is closely controlled by regulation. Life in the team will appeal to those who are very proud of their Chartered Accountant status, who enjoy an educational environment, but love getting out and about meeting and understanding people in practice, business and the public sector. Overall purpose of this role of Training Employer ManagerTo provide a first-class standard of quality assurance to the Education & Training Department's functions in respect of Authorised Training Employers & Principals (ATEs & ATPs). Training Employer Manager Responsibilities include: To assess and, where appropriate, approve organisations/individuals as ICAEW ATEs/ATPs in conformity with the Training Standards and allied regulations, procedures and periodically review ATEs/ATPs to ensure that all required standards are being adhered to and that ATE/ATP status may be involved in the processing of audit qualification applicationsTo contribute to the operation and development of ATE/ATP regulatory work, compliance with FRC, ICAEW regulations contribute to the development and operation of the ACA in respect of the work-place meet targets for completion of training authorisations and reviews.Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
