ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Evesham on a full-time basis. About the School: A Specialist all through school based in Evesham for children and young people aged from 3-19 with moderate to complex needs with the aim of providing high quality education. Children have a range of diagnoses and special needs, including Autism, Physical Disabilities, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The role: A well-established school is seeking an enthusiastic, devoted, and caring learning support assistant to work closely with children in small groups with special educational needs to support their learning and development. Collaborate with the class Teacher and other support staff to implement individualised learning plans and strategies for students. Encourage student engagement and participation during lessons promoting a sense of belonging and achievement. Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that encourages growth and independence for all students. About you:- We are looking for candidates who: Have relevant experience supporting students with autism, social, emotional, physical and learning difficulties. Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills. Are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to go the extra mile to support the students in your care. Can provide appropriate references and pass a DBS check. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
