We are seeking a highly motivated business engagement executive with a passion for sales, apprenticeships and education to drive business engagement and our ambitious mission to meet skills needs in the Borough and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Driving employer engagement to secure high-quality work placements for students.
* Supporting employed apprentices and learner recruitment services.
* Strengthening partnerships that underpin apprenticeship delivery and growth targets.
Knowledge of the skills landscape and a meaningful understanding of the wider socio-economic context of the need to bring employers and learners together. Knowledge of local labour market opportunities and of local/national trends. Knowledge of working in a sales and target-driven environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences in a variety of settings and situations. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise, set and achieve own targets without direct supervision.
