3. Hours : 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Required to visit the Glasgow site once per week)
4. Job Location : Glasgow (Required to travel to the USA on a monthly basis)
5. Salary: Competitive + Benefits (Depending on the level of sales experience and industry knowledge)
Traveling to our USA clients and sites on a monthly basis for approximately 2 weeks at a time (All expenses and travel will be paid for).
We are seeking a talented and driven Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. With a focus on understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, you will lead initiatives to expand our product portfolio, enhance market penetration, and strengthen our position in key therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities:
6. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including licensing, partnerships, and acquisitions, aligned with corporate strategic objectives.
7. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, healthcare organizations, and regulatory agencies.
8. Lead negotiations and collaborate cross-functionally to execute partnership agreements, licensing deals, and other business transactions.
9. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential growth opportunities.
10. Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships and alliances, making recommendations for optimization and enhancement as needed.
11. Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be someone with extensive experience within sales, and hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biotechnology or a related field in Drug Development / Life Sciences. We'd also like to hear from candidates who;
12. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, and would like to develop their career within the Pharmaceutical/ Biotherapeutics sector, (full training will be given if no experience in the industry).
