Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced HGV 2 tramper driver on for our client in Barnsley for ongoing work.Hours of work:Monday to Friday0730 starts1 or 2 nights out each week paid at £26.50 tax free! DRIVER WILL NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE TO BE ABLE TO NIGHT OUT AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.Guaranteed 8 hours pay each day minimum!Salary:£15.01 p/h + £1.82 holiday pay (accrued)£26.50 per night Tax FreeMinimum 8 hours pay per shift.Paid weekly.Example gross pay = £15.01 x 45 hours + £675.45 + £26.50 = £701.95 with £81.90 in accrued holiday pay.The Role:Ongoing work (potential to go perm)Trunking work on the whole, some long runs up to Scotland with a night out.Delivery of plastics and drainage equipment.Duties/Responsibilities:Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.Essential Skills:Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence.
