Were looking for a proactive and dynamic Branch Lead to join our on-site operations team. Youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a customer-focused branch environment and will be at the heart of supporting day-to-day activity.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial supply, or a trade counter environment would be beneficial, but full training will be providedso dont let that hold you back from applying.
What Youll Do
With a strong commercial mindset, youll build relationships with key stakeholders such as engineering, procurement, and facilities teams. Youll also play an active role in identifying opportunities for operational improvements, revenue growth, and cost savings.
While product knowledge would be an advantage, its not essential. What matters most is your experience in an operational or commercial role within a manufacturing or engineering settingideal for someone with industrial B2B sales experience or a purchasing/procurement background.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Build strong, trusted relationships with on-site teams and key stakeholders to understand their priorities and support daily operational needs.
Take part in regular production and engineering meetings to stay aligned with ongoing projects and site requirements.
Develop and implement efficient stores management processes while ensuring all agreed service levels, KPIs, and targets are consistently met.
Manage stock planning in line with site-specific needs, ensuring availability of essential parts, tools, and materials.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations for high-value tenders and re-tenders.
Balance multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and clear communication.
Apply strong commercial awareness to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for spend optimisation for the customer.
