If you are an experienced EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Engineer with a strong background in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) this is a fantastic opportunity of offer. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, commissioning, and maintenance of EC&I systems within BESS projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop EC&I systems for BESS projects, including electrical schematics, instrumentation layouts, and control systems
* Lead installation, testing, and commissioning activities of EC&I components on-site
* Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of BESS into renewable power generation assets
* Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization of EC&I systems to maximize operational reliability
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to innovation in energy storage technologies
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or related discipline
* Proven experience working as an EC&I engineer within the renewables or power generation sector
* Specialized experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is essential
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA, and control systems
* Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.)
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
