Your Core Responsibilities:
1. Be fully knowledgeable about the hotel’s facilities, services, and promotions, and communicate this effectively to guests.
2. Understand the reward program and actively promote enrolment of new members.
3. Ensure charges are accurately posted to guest bills following standard procedures.
4. Handle cash, cheque, and credit transactions in line with hotel and company policies, reporting discrepancies immediately.
5. Pass on all guest messages accurately and promptly.
6. Operate the hotel switchboard, managing internal and external calls per procedures.
7. Deliver a unique guest experience that embodies the brand.
8. Anticipate guest needs, follow up on requests, and provide responsive service to ensure guest satisfaction.
9. Implement IHG values in daily operations.
10. Support other departments and assist as needed.
11. Ensure smooth hotel operations from a guest perspective.
12. Understand all relevant systems and programs.
13. Display proactive and innovative approaches to training.
14. Potentially perform Duty Manager activities.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
1. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
2. Strong knowledge of products, services, and the local area to enhance guest experiences.
3. A service attitude that exceeds expectations.
4. Preferably, candidates will have a background in Front Office operations.
5. Good knowledge of relevant systems.
6. Previous hospitality experience is essential.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
