Pepper Advantage is one of the leading loan servicing companies in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our affiliate company team in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of HR to ensure we deliver effective and efficient customer service and management of the day-to-day HR operations. They will be accountable for the delivery of all HR activities relating to recruitment, training, employee relations, pensions, reward systems, performance management systems etc. They will work closely with department managers and leaders to provide an effective and efficient service to the business.
We are looking for a proactive and positive person, who enjoys coaching and building relationships.
As a HR Business Partner, some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
* Providing expert guidance on talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
* Leading organisational change initiatives to support business transformation.
* Analysing HR metrics and providing insights to drive decision-making.
* Managing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment law.
* Supporting the implementation of performance management frameworks.
* Developing and delivering HR policies that promote an inclusive workplace culture.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to management on complex HR matters.
* Acting as the primary HR contact for matters involving the union; fostering and maintaining effective, respectful working relationships with union representatives.
We are ideally looking for someone who has previously worked in a similar role within the Financial Services industry, but this is not essential.
Essential Skills:
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent reporting skills, including Excel modelling
* Can communicate with clarity, accuracy and commitment. Composes clear, direct, concise complete messages.
* Excellent presentation skills; presents information clearly, concisely, accurately and logically.
* Expertise in organisational development and change management.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent professional certification.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
* Proven HR business partnering experience in complex, fast-paced environments
* Experience working across multiple geographies and with a remote workforce
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results.
* Ability to support negotiations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures in alignment with union frameworks.
* Strong knowledge of labour legislation, collective bargaining, and industrial relations processes.

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation of three days per week office attendance.
