Contract Manager – Bellshill
Equans is looking for an experienced and dedicated Contract Manager to join our team in Bellshill. This is a full‑time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company car or car allowance, bonus and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
* Be accountable for the financial performance of the contract
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups
* Manage risks relating to SHEQ safety, health, environment and quality through RAMS, PPE, training and company procedures
* Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers and sub‑contractors to improve contractual operational performance
* Build meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisations
* Manage client service delivery across multiple locations, ensuring all resources collaborate effectively
* Agree and maintain a clear business plan for the appointed contract
* Set, monitor and control SLAs and KPIs, seeking opportunities to provide added value across delivery stakeholders
* Ensure mobile personnel manage the contract to agreed SLAs and KPIs for technical and related services
* Plan, implement and monitor standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and all reactive works with mobile teams
* Log and record completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works within the client/company asset management system
* Review monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance, escalating to the Account Manager as necessary
* Review contract performance monthly with the Account Manager and agree future plans
* Develop and monitor direct reports through training and regular reviews
* Deliver training and corporate briefings
* Drive successful contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives
* Manage support functions as required to deliver a coherent service
* Review interface with third‑party suppliers and sub‑contractors
* Maintain commercial understanding of the client contractual deliverables across all services
* Regularly meet with the client to further understand their organisation and requirements
* Drive profit improvement through sales generation and cost saving initiatives in collaboration with operations teams

Who are you?
* Previous contract management experience, with a background in Social Housing and compliance
* A sound technical background, supported by recognised M&E qualifications
* Good knowledge of building services and legislation
* H&S Qualification
* Water Systems and Legionella Control – HSG274
* Experience of using a CAFM system
* Asbestos awareness
* Computer literate
* Excellent communicator, able to communicate effectively with colleagues, the client, other service partners and suppliers
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team
* Flexible and adaptable to change with the ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
* Full, clean driver licence is essential
