We’re supporting a small independent restaurant group in the appointment of a General Manager for a brand new, premium, high-volume venue in Leeds City Centre.
With over 170 covers, this is an exceptional opportunity to build and lead a new team from the ground up and shape the guest experience in a high-profile opening.
The Role
The General Manager will take full responsibility for all aspects of venue leadership and performance, including:
* Recruiting, developing, and inspiring a high-performing team
* Ensuring consistent delivery of an exceptional guest journey
* Managing budgets, forecasting, and operational planning
* Working closely with ownership to drive strategic goals and standards
* Building strong local partnerships and community presence
* Maintaining compliance, quality, and a positive workplace culture
The Person
We’re looking for an experienced, confident operator who thrives in a premium, fast-paced environment. You’ll bring:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience as General Manager within a large, quality venue (170+ covers)
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop large teams
* Strong commercial and analytical skills
* Passion for food, beverage, and delivering a memorable guest experience
* A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and resilience
Package
* Up to £55,000 depending on experience
* Tips (averaging an additional £5,000 per annum)
* 48-hour contract
