This is an exciting digital outdoor marketing business that owns and operates premium high-motion billboards in key locations across London. They provide brands with large screens to display advertisements to public, creating high-impact memorable marketing experiences.
Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a talented Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Role
The Management Accountant for this innovative marketing business based in the central London, will work closely with the Financial Controller in producing management accounts and managing month-end processes. They will take on a number of key duties including:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments and other adjustments.
* Produce balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong control over key accounts.
* Support VAT returns and other statutory or regulatory filings.
* Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation and asset reconciliations.
* Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
* Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
* Process sales invoices, purchase invoices and employee expenses as required
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries with internal and external stakeholders.
* Support credit control activities, including aged debt reporting and follow-up.
* Assist with payroll preparation and related reconciliations where applicable.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following attributes:
* 4+ years of experience in owning management accounts processes & month-end procedures.
* Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
* High levels of attention to detail
* Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables/VLOOKUPs)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ideally Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 to £50,000 plus benefits including:
