About the role
In your role as Technical Systems Analyst you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core business applications.
You will lead the technical support, configuration, maintenance, and analysis of enterprise systems, ensuring they meet evolving business needs while maintaining compliance, security, and operational continuity.
This role acts as a technical liaison between the IT department, business stakeholders, and external service providers—ensuring issues are resolved promptly, systems are optimally configured, and changes are implemented efficiently and effectively.
What you will be doing
As a trusted part of the IT you will be responsible for:
* Deliver and maintain high-quality operational support for all assigned applications within agreed SLAs and business-supported hours.
* Act as a technical lead on troubleshooting and resolving incidents, managing problems, and implementing system changes in collaboration with business users and 3rd party vendors.
* Ensure timely delivery of internal and external audit actions, IT risk mitigation activities, and compliance with organisational standards and controls.
* Provide technical input across project lifecycles, contributing to design decisions, integration planning, and system optimisation.
* Take ownership of support models and ensure that service support processes, escalation paths, and knowledge transfer protocols are followed and continuously improved.
* Generate, validate, and deliver management information (MI) and analytics from systems to support operational and regulatory reporting needs.
* Support vendor management activities, including performance reviews, contract adherence, and issue resolution
* Facilitate root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues and performance bottlenecks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices for system resilience and business continuity.
* Ensure documentation, knowledge bases, and support runbooks are current and accessible across the team.
About you

To be successful in the role you will have:
* Proven experience in technical application support, configuration, and analysis within a regulated or enterprise environment.
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including performance degradation and integration failures.
* Experience working with 3rd party support partners and vendors, including service review participation and contract management awareness.
* Proficient in producing technical documentation, MI dashboards, and user support materials.
* Familiarity with ITIL-based support frameworks and service management tools.
* Working knowledge of information security, access control, and audit compliance principles.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
