Teaching Assistant – Year 3 (Full-Time)

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and committed individual looking to make a real difference in the classroom? A warm and welcoming Burnley primary school is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in a Year 3 class starting September 2025.
This is a varied and rewarding position, providing:
* General classroom support to the class teacher, helping to deliver engaging and effective lessons
* Targeted support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs such as ADHD and ASD
* Assistance with preparing learning materials and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Involvement in group work and one-to-one interventions to support academic and emotional development
* Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2
* Understanding of or experience supporting children with additional needs including neurodiverse learners
* A calm, patient and positive approach with strong behaviour management skills
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* A relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
