Overview
Are you an experienced manager or leader within a community mental health setting, with an interest in Looked After and Adopted Children and their families and carers? We want to hear from you. As a Community Team Manager working in the CFYP Looked After and Adopted Children’s Team you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to support the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people. The role includes managing the CFYP LAAC service with a peripatetic component to gain experience across the CFYP service line.
We work closely with Social Care and the young people’s carers, particularly supporting those with attachment or trauma-related difficulties due to past history. To ensure safe, responsive, high-quality service is provided to service users, families and carers within the clinical environment by ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, Trust policies, pathways, standard operating procedures and protocols.
The Community Team Manager will allocate work within the team to ensure effective use of resources and monitor the team’s performance against the Trust’s objectives. The role provides professional governance and leadership within the area.
