Were seeking a commercially minded Stock & Cost Controller to join a global company working in their UK Head Office team and play a pivotal role in driving inventory accuracy and cost efficiency across the business. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives on data, detail, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and analyse stock levels across stores, warehouses, and channels
* Lead regular stock audits and investigate discrepancies
* Working within the Finance team working with other areas to optimise inventory flow
* Track operational costs and support budget planning
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior stakeholders
What Youll Bring
1. Proven experience in stock control, cost analysis, or commercial finance
2. Strong Excel and data manipulation skills
3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
4. Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance teams
5. Retail, hospitality, or FMCG background preferred
