The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
The Estates role requires appropriate mechanical or building services qualifications and experience as described below and is based at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Requirements
* Must have served a recognised Mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance with a BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post-apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
* Must hold a current UK (manual) driving licence and reside within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.
Role and Conditions
The role is Monday to Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working. Please see attached shift pattern.
Salary - £29,970 - 36,483 pa plus local RRP (£3,277 pa), with an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime, 27 days holiday & voluntary pension scheme.
