We are recruiting for a leading main contractor delivering large-scale industrial projects, including warehouses, distribution centres, and cold storage facilities. They are seeking a Site Engineer or Senior Engineer with a background in commercial groundworks or earthworks to play a key role in the successful delivery of their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out and surveying for large-scale industrial projects.
* Overseeing groundworks and earthworks, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
* Collaborating with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain programme and cost efficiency.
* Ensuring health & safety protocols are adhered to across all engineering aspects.
* Providing technical support and problem-solving on-site.
Requirements:
* Experience in commercial groundworks or earthworks within an engineering role.
* Strong setting-out skills using GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD.
* Experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
* A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
* Valid CSCS card and relevant site certifications.
