Restaurant Host Champneys Tring Contract: Full Time Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour plus tips As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first impression of our dining experience and play a key role in setting the tone for every guest visit. You’ll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive, supporting reservations, managing bookings and ensuring a smooth flow of service while working closely with the wider Food & Beverage team. What You’ll Be Doing Welcoming guests and creating a warm, professional first impression Managing bookings and reservations to ensure a seamless dining experience Escorting guests to their tables and maintaining an organised seating plan Supporting the coordination of restaurant flow and guest experience Providing menus and initial information, including allergen guidance Handling guest enquiries in person, over the phone and via email Supporting room service coordination where required Maintaining the ambience and presentation of the restaurant environment Working closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations Supporting upselling opportunities and promoting the wider Champneys offering Assisting with events, functions and special occasions Handling guest feedback and escalating where appropriate What We’re Looking For A naturally warm, confident and professional manner Previous experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality preferred) Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to remain calm and composed in a busy environment A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences Strong attention to detail and a high standard of presentation Why Work for Champneys?
