Job Title: SEN/SEMH Teacher Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Salary: £30,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available) Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN/SEMH Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive specialist school in Bournemouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher with a strong understanding of SEN and a desire to support students in overcoming barriers to learning. What you will be doing: Deliver tailored, creative, and engaging lessons to small groups of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs. Develop and adapt learning materials to support individual education plans (IEP's and EHCP's) Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment Patience, empathy and resilience. Strong communication and teamwork skills. What Prospero would love from you: Additional training in Team Teach, or other SEMH-specific interventions.
