On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is looking to meet new candidates for the Machine Operators to assist in the production of automotive components. The company is not accessible by bus.Your own reliable transportation is required. Those with shared transportation will not be considered. Students are also ineligible for this role.
This is a Full-time position from Monday to Friday with periodic Mandatory Overtime on Saturdays.
Day shift: 6:am – 2:pm – $./hr
Afternoon Shift: 2:pm – :pm $.+ $0. shift premium
Night Shift: :pm – 6:am – $. +$0. shift premium
* + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly.
Responsibilities:
1. Operating various manual and automatic machines to manufacture automotive parts
2. Maneuver large parts for assembly
3. Use of simple mathematical calculations to ensure parts are being manufactured with production specifications
4. Work with basic hand tools and manual measuring equipment to complete tasks
5. Documentation and reporting
6. Meet required quotas
Requirements:
7. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and communicate effectively in English
8. Ability to record data effectively
9. Attention to detail and manual dexterity
10. Able to produce quality parts while keeping pace with the team
11. CSA Safety shoes and safety glasses are a must
12. Any other PPE will be supplied
