We have a permanent vacancy to join our team within schools in the Kirkcaldy and Leven area, covering in various schools as required.
Responsibilities
* In this Mobile Catering Supervisor post, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
* Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
* Be aware of HACCP Procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
* Understand dietary and nutritional needs.
* Duties may include transporting and serving meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and its surrounds.
Qualifications
* Catering Experience and a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
* Training on all In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post if not already held.
Requirements
* Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland required before confirming appointment.
* Ability to travel throughout Fife within a limited timescale.
* Attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
