We are looking for a confident and highly organised Property Administrator to join our Thames Valley office. This is a newly created role within a growing office, working closely with a Senior Surveyor to support the day-to‑day management of a varied property portfolio. As part of a small and developing team, you will play a key role in helping to establish efficient processes and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
This position would suit someone who is proactive, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift. As this is a newly established and growing office, there will be genuine opportunities for the successful candidate to develop their role over time. This could include gaining exposure to wider property management responsibilities and progressing within the business as the team expands.
Key responsibilities
* Acting as the first point of contact for calls and emails, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally
* Managing inboxes and diaries, including prioritising communications and coordinating meetings
* Assisting with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and client documentation
* Supporting the coordination of site visits, contractor access, and general property management tasks
* Liaising with clients, tenants, and contractors in a clear and professional manner
* Assisting with tenant communications, including post preparation and general correspondence
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring systems are kept up to date
* Providing general administrative support, including ad hoc tasks as required
About you
* Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role is essential
* Experience within property or a related sector would be advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English
* High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
* Proactive and self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently
* Comfortable working as part of a small team in a growing office environment
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Qube is highly beneficial but not essential
