The Job You’ll Do:
* Liaise with the Works Office as required to support operational needs.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.
* Work closely with engineering/maintenance to support operational requirements.
* Oversee the administration of the stores department.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the Stores and support maintenance planning
* Drive continuous improvement in Stores and inventory control
* Control the procurement of materials
* Manage and monitor the inventory system to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.
* Prepare stores performance reports
* Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth processes.
About You:
* Experience working in a similar role within an engineering/manufacturing environment
* Ideally have experience supporting a maintenance department (stock & planning)
* Educated to GCSE level or above
* Computer literate including Word, Excel (All round IT skills)
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling around the site
* A valid FLT license is desirable
