Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing support to staff and facilitating effective communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
* Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up to date
* Assist with bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks, including invoicing and tracking expenses
* Prepare documents and reports using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents
* Support team members with clerical tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment
* Utilise Google Workspace for communication and project management
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential, with a strong background in administrative roles preferred
* Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
* Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory
* Demonstrated clerical experience in a professional setting is beneficial
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are key attributes for success in this role
