Workforce Planner - Housing Maintenance
Location: Aberdeen (with potential for hybrid working may be considered after training)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Contract Length: 8 months (with potential for extension due to workload)We are currently recruiting for a proactive and organised Repairs Planner to join a busy team based in Kittybrewster. This is a temporary position offering the opportunity to contribute to essential housing maintenance services across the city.About the RoleWorking closely with Inspectors, Tradespeople, and Supervisory staff, you will play a key role in coordinating and scheduling repair works to ensure they are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed standards and timescales.Reporting directly to the Senior Work Planner, you will support the inspection team and provide cover across various trade teams during periods of leave.Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate housing repairs using a digital planning system
* Ensure all works are planned in accordance and within required time frames
* Liaise with trades teams, inspectors, and supervisors to ensure smooth delivery of services
* Provide administrative and planning support to the wider maintenance team
* Assist in maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
What We're Looking For
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads independently and as part of a team
* Confident using digital planning tools and systems
* A background in trades or a good understanding of trade work is highly advantageous
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Additional InformationIn-house training will be provided, including modules on asbestos awareness, fire safety, and general induction.
