Job Title: SEND specialist 1-1 Learning Support Assistant

Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £90 - £110 Per Day
Are you an enthusiastic SEND specialist 1-1 Learning Support Assistant who is looking for more flexibility with working? Are you reliable, honest and hard-working? Do you enjoy working with children and providing them with equal learning opportunities?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schools that are currently looking for SEND specialist 1-1 Learning Support Assistants, who are looking for more working flexibility to provide day-to-day cover, working across KS1 and KS2. You will be working with a warm and positive team in Cheshire, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach to learning.
The setting looks after up to 30 children in each classroom, with both indoor and outdoor areas split into age-appropriate sections and provide sensory enhancing activities. The school ensures that the children can challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment, to aid learning in a positive manner.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1-1 support to pupils with SEND across KS1 and KS2, enabling inclusion and equal learning opportunities.
* Support pupils with daily learning activities, follow therapeutic approaches, and adapt plans as required.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualized learning goals and monitor progress.
* Assist with classroom management and safety to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Navigate flexible daily coverage across multiple classes as required.
Qualifications
* Child enhanced DBS (registered on the update service).
* ‘Can-do’ approach with willingness to get stuck in.
* Adaptability.
