Auto Electrician – Leading Bus Operator
Salary: £40,500 – £45,500
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across our fleet of buses
Carrying out routine electrical maintenance, including wiring, lighting, and control systems
Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Supporting the engineering team with fault‑finding and technical expertise
Completing accurate service and repair recordsWhat You’ll Bring
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (bus, HGV, or automotive background welcome)
Strong electrical diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
A commitment to safety, accuracy, and high‑quality workmanshipMust Have
Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds level 1 & 2).
Must be fully conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment and the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems.
Must be in the possession of, or capable of obtaining a full PCV licence and forklift truck licence if required.Company benefits
