We are looking for a Stores Person to join the team who ideally has knowledge of security industry products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily running of the stores area while working closely with colleagues throughout the business.
Responsibilities:
* Stock control/equipment asset management and audit.
* Supplier selection and review
* Ordering equipment required for work.
* Issuing stock and equipment, maintaining minimum levels of essential stock
* Matching invoices with delivery/purchase order
* Maintaining a clean and safe stores area working environment
* Receiving, controlling and returning stock
* Fleet management, including repair liaison.
* PPE order allocation and management
* PAT testing
* Multimeter testing
* Maintain catalogue on SIMPRO.
* Maintain van stock.
Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
* Good time management skills, ability to achieve and set deadlines
* Good IT skills
* Good organisational skills
* Good level of fitness as some lifting and moving parts and equipment is required.
* Ability to suggest, plan and organise improvements to the stock and equipment control systems.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £19,240.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
