Our client will provide support and advice to young people who have experienced homelessness and other forms of social exclusion. Youll work with the team to manage the day-to-day running of the young persons 24/7 supported accommodation scheme and be the first point of contact for customers and visitors.
Job requirements
Support customers to move into the service, completing detailed and thorough sign-ups to make sure young people know the rights and responsibilities of themselves and Concrete.
Cover all reception tasks including the phone, post and reception enquiries.
Support customers to manage their rent and service charge payments, including benefit claims where necessary.
Maintain the safety and security of young people and the building by supervising the entrance and exit of the building, and undertaking regular health and safety checks.
Arrange appointments for customers, for example with their GP or DWP and accompany them where appropriate. Provide advice to them on housing, health, welfare benefit claims and other issues as necessary.
