Support Through Sport uses sport and youth work to engage and support disadvantaged young people across Nottingham & Nottinghamshire. We deliver diversionary and mentoring programmes designed to reduce youth offending and serious youth violence while building positive futures for young people.
Role — Community Sport Coach (Part time)
We’re looking for a committed Community Sport Coach to plan and deliver engaging sports sessions in community settings, support outreach activities, and act as a positive role model for young people. This role is part-time, includes a six-month probation period and evening availability is required.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and deliver sport-based sessions that motivate and engage young people.
* Produce session plans and evaluate delivery; contribute to session debriefs.
* Support outreach and engagement work
* Attend community events and team meetings, maintain equipment, and support the wellbeing of participants.
* Maintain boundaries, confidentiality and an inclusive approach.

Who we’re looking for
* Coaching experience and/or direct youth work experience (multi-sport ability desirable).
* Passion for working with disadvantaged young people; lived experience is welcome.
* Good time management, professionalism and ability to manage behaviour.
* Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential.
