Income Operations Manager

Location: South Manchester (Hybrid – 2 Days WFH)

Salary: Up to £55,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Income Operations Manager to join a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed wealth management business. Based in South Manchester, this role offers the chance to play a key part in building and enhancing scalable revenue and income reconciliation processes within a dynamic, acquisitive environment.

The Role

Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider operations teams, you will take ownership of income reconciliation and revenue assurance across the business. You will ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of all revenue streams, while supporting the integration of newly acquired firms into consistent financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Income Reconciliation & Revenue Assurance

* Manage reconciliation of revenue across systems, including platform income, adviser fees, and commissions
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of all revenue streams
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems and provider statements
* Maintain robust controls around revenue recognition
* Support monthly revenue close processes

Adviser Commission & Remuneration

* Oversee calculation and reconciliation of adviser commissions
* Ensure accurate and timely adviser payments
* Resolve queries relating to income allocation and remuneration
* Maintain clear and consistent documentation of payment structures

Systems & Data Management

* Manage income processes within back-office systems (e.g. Intelliflo Office)
* Ensure data integrity across operational and financial systems
* Support improvements to reporting, data quality, and reconciliation processes
* Assist with developing scalable processes for future growth

Acquisition Integration

* Support integration of newly acquired firms into group processes
* Align legacy income and commission structures with group standards
* Ensure consistency in reporting and remuneration practices

Process Improvement & Projects

* Drive enhancements to reconciliation processes and internal controls
* Support development of scalable revenue assurance frameworks
* Assist with audit preparation and regulatory documentation
* Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects

About You

* Proven experience in income reconciliation, revenue operations, or finance within financial services
* Strong understanding of wealth management revenue streams (fees, commissions, platform income)
* Experience with back-office systems such as Intelliflo Office (or similar)
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
* Ability to investigate and resolve complex discrepancies
* Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach
* Confident communicator, able to work across finance, operations, and adviser teams
* Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment
