Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership, managing and supporting ongoing team development.
* Ensure safe and effective deployment and management of clinical resources, with robust risk assessment and risk management.
* Implement complex programmes of care using a strength‑based recovery‑focused approach that involves the person and optimises self‑management.
* Oversee caseload and line management of senior staff.
* Monitor clinical activity against key performance indicators.
* Lead all clinical governance activities including care assurance, quality standards, compliance, professional regulation, complaints handling, staff governance, clinical supervision, legislative frameworks, and national and board policy/guidelines.
Qualifications
* 1st level Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience in staff management.
* Degree level education or equivalent post‑registration experience.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Management or leadership qualification desirable or willingness to work toward that level.
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
