Pay:£18.00 Days / £19.50 Nights / £21 Sat / £22 Sun
The Role
*
o Average shift length:1012 hours
*
o 7-day operation(working week runsSunday to Saturday)
*
o AM shifts:typically start between05:0007:00
*
o PM shifts:typically start between13:0019:00
Delivery area spans:
North: Manchester/Wakefield/Scunthorpe/ Preston Usually night drivers
West: South Wales
South: London (Outer)
Key Responsibilities
*
o Deliveringa mixture of products such as crisps, spices, glass jars and cleaning products
*
o It is the drivers responsibility to ensure to load is strapped securely, depending on the product
*
o Occasionally certain sites will require you to use pump truck to unload
*
o Most sites, no hand balling involved
*
o Safely operate and drive HGV 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
*
o Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
*
o Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness
*
o Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
*
o Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
*
o Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics team members
*
o Shifts are booked daily with shift confirmation times texted to you the day before
*
o No driving assessment on site, but paperwork to be complete before first shift
Requirements
*
o Valid HGV 1 C+E licence
*
o Up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card
*
o Min 12 months HGV Class 1 C+E experience

o We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
