The Role – Deputy Manager
As Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager to lead the setting and ensure the highest standards of childcare are delivered every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the overall management of the nursery
* Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team
* Ensuring the nursery meets the highest standards of safeguarding and early years practice
* Building strong partnerships with families and providing outstanding customer care
* Leading by example and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 in Early Years and Education (full and relevant)
* Proven nursery management or childcare leadership experience
* Paediatric First Aid (preferred, training can be provided)
* DSL qualification (preferred)
* A strong record of ongoing training and professional development
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* A genuine passion for early years care and education
