Job Description
You will be responsible for generating simple design concepts for complex problems including 3D models and advanced simulations for complex precision, high value aerospace equipment\n\n+ Producing top level design layouts from which detailed parts may be developed.\n\n+ Calling and chairing design reviews\n + Consulting extensively with associates and others, with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretation and advice.\n + Developing and maintaining cost and mass models for products.\n + Producing and presenting design review presentations to internal and external customers.\n + Checking engineering drawings for functionality and correctness and ensuring drawing complies with Engineering Drawing Best Practice.\n\nQualifications Required\n\n+ Chartered Mechanical Engineering Degree Accredited by IMechE.\n\n+ 1st or 2.1 Mechanical Engineering Degree or higher\n\nTechnical Skills\n\n+ Complex engineering modelling with hand calculations\n\n+ Knowledge of finite element techniques.\n + CAD and Teamcenter\n\n+ ANSYS, Strand7, NX Nastran, LS Dyna.\n\n+ Multibody dynamics modelling tools such as ADAMS.\n + TK Solver or MathCAD\n + SAP ERP system
