About The Role
Do you want to be at the forefront of one of the world’s most ambitious sustainability initiatives? Balfour Beatty has created iconic buildings and infrastructure all over the world and has been selected by bp to construct a first‑of‑a‑kind fully integrated gas‑fired power station with carbon capture and storage. The Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project is based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland.
Responsibilities
* Use the project document management system within the Common Data Environment (CDE) and client CDE, following company and quality control procedures (BS EN ISO 9001).
* Input and ensure timely, appropriate document submissions.
* Monitor integration of all project documentation through approved workflows, carry out QA checks, release/distribute documentation, and manage transition of technical data from design to construction.
* Carry out intermittent audits and produce reports on findings.
* Produce reports and analyse data and trends.
* Review and update procedures, guidelines and workflows related to the document control process.
* Attend meetings as required and offer advice and support to the project team and interested parties.
* Maintain effective working relationships to improve overall quality and efficiency.
* Live the Balfour Beatty Values and focus on Zero Harm.
* Support the business unit external accreditation process (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
Who We’re Looking For – Desirable
* 5+ years managing information through a CDE on construction projects.
* Knowledge of UK and international standards for document control.
* Experience with electronic document control systems.
* Any form of document management or ISO 9001 certification.
* Broad knowledge of ISO 9001.
* Experience working within document management.
* Experience with systems and procedures.
* Full working knowledge of databases.
* Contractual awareness and basic market understanding.
* Advanced ICT skills.
* Excellent organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and under minimum supervision.
* Previous experience managing a team.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office.
