Music Teacher – Secondary School (Caerphilly)
Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time (with potential for extension)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Caerphilly area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the curriculum
Encourage creativity, participation, and musical development in students
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular music activities where appropriate
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
A genuine passion for music and education
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
EWC registration (or willingness to register)
