Role Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain Matsuura 5-axis machining centres
*
Work to tight deadlines and complex customer specifications
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data
*
Select tooling, fixtures, and work-holding methods
*
Work collaboratively to meet production and quality targets
*
Apply a “Right First Time” approach and support full component traceability
*
Liaise with team leaders and management regarding equipment needs
Essential Requirements
*
Proven experience in a similar role
*
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain 3- and 5-axis CNC mills
*
Competent with precision measuring equipment
*
Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
*
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
*
Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
Preferred
*
Fanuc control experience
*
Knowledge of metallic materials
*
Edgecam or similar CAM system experience
