Role Responsibility Fixed Term until 31st March 2026 Kent County Council have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Officer to coordinate and drive the work streams that support the implementation of Kent’s Family Hub Programme (full-time and hybrid working). The Family Hub Programme has been extended into its fourth year, developing and embedding the Department for Education Family Hub model in Kent. The programme is now in Year 4 of delivery and the Project Officer will play a critical role in working with the Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) directorate and the Senior Project Manager to support the co-design, coordination and service delivery of the national Family Hub model. Year 4 of the programme will consolidate the work delivered in Years 1-3 and ensure that new approaches, training and resources are embedded in practice and enhanced to deliver the desired outcomes for Kent families. The postholder will work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve services for whole families and give children the Best Start to Life. The postholder will support the integration of services and partners to ensure a holistic approach to the delivery of Family Hubs. We are looking for a Project Officer who is highly motivated, organised and keen to develop their skillset in supporting the delivery of an important strategic priority for Kent County Council. Applicants will have experience of supporting project development and delivery, including maintaining project documentation, budget monitoring and facilitating key project stakeholders. Interviews are currently scheduled for week commencing 16 th June, and will be held at Invicta House in Maidstone. This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service. This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
