Our client are looking for a highly motivated individual for the above who is keen to play their part in the Energy Transition of Northern Ireland. The OpportunityYou will be responsible for leading the Development, Execution and ongoing management of effective Procurement Strategies relating to service performance, quality, cost, innovation, sustainability and governance.You will be responsible for:Providing Professional Procurement expertise to deliver key business objectives (cost, delivery performance, risk mitigation, innovation, etc.).Preparing category plans for each subcategory of spend.Running ‘end to end’ Procurement Processes (above and below OJEU as applicable).Supporting the Demand Planning process and ensuring deadlines are met.Supporting the creation and ongoing management of appropriate commercial and contracting strategies that underpin the overall Strategic Procurement Process to incorporate whole life Cost Modelling and Contract Life Cycle Management.Leading the Procurement Team in the creation of a Group Procurement and Contract Management Strategies.Supporting a business-wide approach to procurement best practice which includes supplier on-boarding and selection, driving standardisation and enhancing efficiencies.Identification, categorisation and ongoing tracking of qualitative and quantitative efficiencies throughout the procurement process.Building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and commitment to implementation.Governance - ensuring that agreed regulatory, legal and commercial governance policies and processes are followed.Ongoing tender administration and financial requisition/purchase order governance and approval duties.Skills and Experience:Relevant Finance, Procurement Or Supply Chain degree or equivalent, typically with 4+ years relevant experience within the fields of Category Management, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.Ability to effectively communicate, influence and collaborate with key stakeholders.Experience of spend profiling, supply markets, cost drivers, analysis, reporting and presentation preferably within a regulatory environment.Knowledge of utilities and/or experience of public sector tendering is highly desirable.Working knowledge of purchasing tools, platforms and processes.What You Will GetThis is an opportunity to lead and contribute to the advancement of a critical component of the energy infrastructure.The rewards package includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience, eligibility for an annual performance related payment, private medical provision, competitive pension with employer matching arrangements, a variety of salary sacrifice schemes (e.g. pension and cycle to work) together with hybrid working arrangements (3 days office: 2 days working at home), competitive holidays and complimentary car parking with electric charging point on site.If you are an experienced professional seeking a challenging and impactful role within the electricity sector, they invite you to apply.
