The Role
You will provide expert input across a range of non-clinical safety studies, taking ownership of pathology-related activities and ensuring the highest standards of scientific delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on anatomic and clinical pathology requirements within study protocols
* Supervising necropsies, ensuring accurate dissection, sampling, and recording of findings
* Conducting detailed microscopic evaluations and correlating data across pathology endpoints
* Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality outcomes
* Supporting, mentoring, and peer-reviewing pathologists in training
About You
* FRCPath or Diplomate of ACVP/ECVP (essential)
* Veterinary degree (DVM, VMD, BVM&S, BVSc or equivalent)
* Experience in toxicologic or laboratory animal pathology
* Strong expertise in toxicity study evaluation and peer review is essential
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Experience with digital pathology (advantageous)
* MSc or PhD
