What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Business Support Admin Assistant and Minute Taker REF: Gateshead 5282290 Pay rate: £13.47 per hour PAYE Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 6 months Working Arrangement: Assume office based as no hybrid working provided In order to apply for this role you will have previous Minute or note taking experience to record meetings, along with experience of providing administrative support in an education or customer service role. The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Business Support Admin Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support to services within Education, Schools & Inclusion, ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided. Key Responsibilities: Deal with enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high level of customer service to service users, members of the public and external organisations via telephone, letter, email and in person Maintain and update manual and computerised information systems, ensuring information used by the service is accurate Co-ordinate responses to Freedom of Information and subject access requests in a timely manner and in accordance with GDP Regulations Undertake general financial administration in accordance with the Council’s financial regulations in relation including budgets, budget monitoring, processing of invoices and other areas as required Attend and contribute to service and team meetings (in the Civic Centre and external venues), recording proceedings where necessary Produce concise and accurate minutes and/or reports, as and when required.
