 
        
        Bid Writer – Construction Division
Location: Woodford Green (hybrid, up to 2 days home per week)
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits
Are you an experienced bid writer with a strong track record in construction tenders? Do you relish working on high-value bids and contributing to large-scale growth? We are looking to recruit two Bid Writers to join our Construction Division and help win some of the biggest opportunities in our pipeline.
About the Role
 * You will lead the production of high-quality, persuasive bid and tender submissions (PQQs, ITTs, RFIs, etc.) for projects valued between £5 million and £300–400 million.
 * You will work alongside estimators, project managers, commercial and technical teams to gather and shape content, ensure compliance, and deliver compelling narrative.
 * You will help develop bid strategies, storylines, win themes, and contribute to continuous improvement of our bid processes, templates and content library.
 * You will manage multiple bids in parallel, adhere to deadlines, and contribute to post-bid reviews and lessons learned.
 * You’ll be based at our office in Woodford Green, with hybrid flexibility (up to 2 days per week from home).
What We’re Looking For
 * Proven experience in bid writing within the construction sector (ideally for a main contractor or large contractor).
 * Experience working on multi-million pound tenders (mid to large scale).
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, clear, and structured proposals.
 * Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple submissions.
 * A collaborative mindset: you’ll engage with stakeholders across the business to gather input, manage change, and present bid content that integrates technical, commercial and programme aspects.
 * Familiarity with public sector procurement, frameworks, tender portals or similar processes is highly desirable.
