Start & finish times: Rotating AM/PM Shift - Monday – Thursday: 06.00 – 13.45 / 13.45 – 01.30

Summary of role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller operates 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components, including setting tools and making necessary program edits. They carry out routine TPM maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently. The role includes raising Product Investigation Reports (PIRs) when issues arise to support quality improvement. Adhering to 5S standards and safely handling components, jigs and fixtures are essential parts of the position. Key Responsibilities:
1. Operating 5 Axis CNC Milling machines
2. Setting Tools
3. Editing Programs
4. Updating basic maintenance on machines (TPM)
5. Raising Product Investigation Reports (PIRs), if required
6. Working to 5S standard in the area
7. Safe handling of components, jigs and fixtures
Role Requirements:
8. 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role
9. Apprentice trained – preferred or demonstrated relevant experience
10. Experience of Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain operating systems
11. Ability to read drawings/specifications
12. Ability to use inspection equipment and inspect your own work
13. Working to production timelines in a manufacturing environment
14. Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation
15. Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook
16. Able to get on with others and be a team-player
17. Attention to detail and accuracy at all times
18. Working to deadlines
19. Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary
