Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is looking for a skilled Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors across our Suffolk & Norfolk sites. The position is based in Bury St Edmunds.
Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive service, including all aspects of planned, routine and reactive maintenance.
- Repair and maintain a wide range of mechanical services and equipment on site.
- Fault find and diagnose issues.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure the estate is safe and fully compliant.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Health & Safety and other relevant legislation.
- Participate as a member of the On‐Call Team, providing an emergency out‑of‑hours service on a rotational basis.
Qualifications and traits
- Flexible, enthusiastic, self‑motivated and confident in being part of a team that provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a varied environment.
- Ideally Gas Safe Registered, though not essential; adequate training will be provided.
