Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter in the manufacturing industry?
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for the Engineering department at First Fence Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for routine maintenance activities and respond to breakdowns within the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake day to day planned and demand maintenance activities to keep the manufacturing facility running to defined schedules.
* You will maintain, repair, and periodically service Roll forming Machines for 60% of the role.
* Supporting small engineering projects and larger capital investment projects whilst adhering to cGMP requirements.
* Use computer-based engineering maintenance management system to organise, priorities and record engineering works.
* Schedule, manage and work with external contractors, technical consultants, and suppliers.
* Contribute to Opex projects reducing budgetary spend.
* Working with the department to ensure the facility is always in an audit ready state including general housekeeping of engineering workshops.
* Ensuring documents are kept up to date and reflect validates status e.g: SOP’s, P&ID’s, calibration certificates, maintenance records, equipment history files.
* Ensuring safe working environment, report near misses, and follow cGMP at all times.
* Provide non – routine support to other engineering disciplines as where required.
* Liaise with engineering and other departments in a timely manner.
* Weekly, monthly and annual fire alarm testing.
* LUX light testing and arrangement of more lighting if required.
* Weekly temperature testing of all water supply’s on site.
* General daily maintenance on small appliances i.e Hand held grinder, 110v extension leads, Welding torches.
* Basic Electrical understanding
* Training for roll forming and fixing of varies equipment will be given
